N182's thanksgiving was quite a casual event, in a private room in Marina Square's Waraku. Very nice and quiet place, and......not to mention, I LOVE WARAKU A LOT!! The most awesome part was ......... I got to eat my favourite Yakiniku Don AND Cream Cheese Scallop Udon AND Potato Cheese Mentai. OOoooohhh, heavenly!

the coolest part is Collin works in this Waraku branch before, and has lots of recommendations for us! Also, he opened 2 bottles of fruit wine for the whole cell group. Awesomeness!
The 2 hosts, Aaron and Janis, gave out the gifts one by one. Each member had a description and a gift that matched them. I received a laser pointer to represent the educator in me hahaha! And Ben received a cute stickfigurine playing a violin to celebrate his talents. Yeaa, I've a super talented boyfriend - he played violin for SYF in primary sch, organ till 5th grade, self-learn guitar till v pro, can breakdance, pro in badminton, pro in soccer, do stunts on bikes, great sense of balance so he can wakeboard and cableski very well with stunts, can do damn a lot of pull-ups (is it 37 in a minute?)

Signing off with a polaroid shot,

"True thanksgiving means that we need to thank God for what He has done for us, and not to tell Him what we have done for Him."
"Thank God every day when you get up that you have something to do that day which must be done whether you like it or not. Being forced to work and forced to do your best will breed in you temperance and self-control, diligence and strength of will, cheerfulness and content, and a hundred virtues which the idle will never know."

Anyway, all the pictures made me realize the importance of a GOOD CAMERA! Why spoil the beautiful memories with shitty photos :( Discussed with my sister about cameras and surprisingly, she knows a lot! I was persuaded to consider sharing Canon 50D with her. Hmmm.
